RUHUNA HIGHLAND ESTATE OP (Black Tea)
Ceylon's rugged central mountains are home to the incomparable Ruhuna Estate,
grown in the cool clouds at 2,500 feet above the Indian Ocean. Here the tea
leaves grow very slowly, producing teas of intense fragrance and flavor.
The rare "O.P." grade, the abbreviation for "Orange Pekoe" (contrary to common
thought, having no reference to the taste of orange, they are instead anglicized
words taken from the 17th century Chinese tea trade) denotes the cherished
largest pieces of leaf.
CLASSIC OOLONG (Formosa Tea)
Traditionally an evening tea, Xanadu Classic Oolong leaves are barely exposed to
the air before drying, yielding a smooth, amber-colored cup with a delicate
fruit note in the finish.
Formosa oolongs are regarded by most European and American tea drinkers as the
best oolongs in the world, and once represented 20% of all teas imported into
the United States.

Originally an expensive blend designed for the Lords and Ladies, the origins of
our blend rest with the British East India Company. Chartered as a monopoly by
the Crown centuries ago to expand the Kingdom's business interests to the
Orient, the "John Company" first secured the Chinese leaf more as a novelty for
the King than as a product that had the potential for shaping an Empire.
EARL GREY (Scented Tea)
Our Earl Grey remains as true as possible to the original blend, and will
delight you with a cup well-balanced between the exotic citrus notes of Bergamot
and the underlying smooth flavor of a high quality black tea.
Legend places the introduction of the first scented tea known to Europe with a
member of the British peerage - Charles, the Earl of Grey. A special envoy from
China presented the Earl with a small amount of a tea previously unknown to the
Empire.
CHAI (Spiced Tea)
Xanadu has created an authentic all-natural Chai blend, created from full-bodied
Indian black teas, skillfully mixed with fragrant spices. The mixture is then
lightly sweetened with sparkling clear sugar crystals, and is ready for brewing.
After brewing, add milk for a taste like the traditional beverage of India and
Nepal.
TROPICANA (Flavored Tea)
One of the best selling teas of Xanadu, Tropicana flavored tea perfectly balances the
sweet flavors of ripe mango, passion fruit, kiwi, and lime. Garnished with a
rainbow of flower petals, Xanadu Tropicana is as beautiful to look at as it is
